Chiropractor
Dr. Dominick Hernandez D.C.
Dr. Dominick Hernandez was born in Guerrero, Mexico and raised in the San Fernando Valley. Sports injuries were all too familiar for him since he practiced martial arts and suffered a season-ending Football injury.
He attended California State University, Northridge to complete his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science after gaining inspiration rehabilitating his injuries and returning to play. Dr. Hernandez decided he wanted to do the same for other athletes and people in need.
Dr. Hernandez is Bilingual and fluent in both English and Spanish; this allows him to better communicate with members of his community. He often recalls frequent visits to the neighborhood “Sobador” because that was all he had access to growing up. Attending Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCU) to pursue a Doctor of Chiropractic degree has allowed him to serve this underserved demographic. During his time at SCU, Dr. Hernandez was elected Associated Student Body Vice President and even won a beauty pageant. (Mr. SCU will show pictures as proof upon request). Working in rehab settings has made Dr. Hernandez a firm believer in that movement is the best medicine when dealing with pain.
When Dr. Hernandez is not working, he enjoys spending time with family, hiking, mountain biking, weightlifting and trying new pizza places, (recommendations are appreciated). He is also collector of cool socks to pair with his addiction to sneakers.
Chiropractor
Dr. Eric Pitpitan D.C.
Dr. Eric Pitpitan was raised in the San Fernando Valley of Califonia. He was first exposed to the chiropractic field when he was thirteen years old. His mother had to take time off of work due to severe back pain and began visiting a chiropractor. Within the course of three weeks, her chiropractor was able to get her back on her feet so that she could support her family of four.
This moment had sparked an interest in helping those, like his mother, get back to their normal lives. His experiences with his chiropractor had molded his journey throughout school moving forward.
He attended California State University, Northridge and earned a B.S. degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science. He went on to attend Southern California University and earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. During his time at SCU, he dedicated most of his time effort into developing his craft and diagnostic skills which earned him two awards: Exceptional Chiropractic Technique and Clinical Excellence. Dr. Pitpitan currently practices a few different techniques including Graston Technique (GTS) soft tissue modality, Webster Technique for women experiencing pregnancy, and preventive/corrective rehabilitation which aims to enhance one’s quality of life through movement.
Aside from his chiropractic career, Dr. Pitpitan is a part time instructor at his chiropractic college (SCU) with hopes that he can help mold chiropractic students into skilled and competent doctors. He spends his free time with his close friends and family, and indulges in his many different hobbies including: sports, coffee making, sneaker customization, music mixing, and traveling.
Chiropractor
Dr. Daniel Sanchez D.C.
Dr. Sanchez was born and raised in Los Angeles County, California. He received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from the WASC accredited, Southern California University of Health Sciences. He went on to complete additional extensive training in the science of physical rehabilitation and diagnosis of musculoskeletal disorders.
This specialization allows Dr. Sanchez to thoroughly assess and diagnose the root of each patient’s condition, so the doctor can alleviate pain, help prevent future injuries and facilitate wellness.
Dr. Sanchez was first introduced to Chiropractic after suffering a painful and debilitating injury that affected his everyday quality of life. At the age of twenty-three, doctors were advising that he undergo a potentially life-altering surgery. The devastating news forced him to look for alternative methods of health care. Upon referral, he began regularly visiting a chiropractor. The chiropractor’s progressive treatments brought him back to wellness and ignited a passion within him to provide the public with a more proactive approach to health care.
As a former patient and witness of chiropractic care benefits, Dr. Sanchez is committed to helping others through the healing science of Chiropractic. He has pledged to spread the message of alternative health care to provide options to those with limited choices.
Managing one’s health is an ongoing learning experience and Reform Chiropractic has made it its goal to provide patients with the necessary tools to better manage their individual health.
Dysfunction and pain derive from overuse injuries or blunt traumas. Unfortunately, when conditions are left untreated they worsen over time and directly affect one's quality of life. Chronic pain and discomfort can very easily affect physical and mental well-being. It is important to address conditions early to help avoid the development of other non-related dysfunctions.
Pain and discomfort are not something you have to live with. There are many alternatives to treat conditions outside of medications and surgery. We will do everything we can to help and in the event, treatment is beyond our scope of practice we will provide you with options and refer you to the practitioner best suited to treat your unique circumstance.
